Mugabe ‘instructs’ Kabila to embarrass Tsvangirai

Harare(ZimEye)President Robert Mugabe has instructed the chairman of SADC (Southern African Development Community) to dress down Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai it has been revealed.

A source close to the Harare held talks between Mugabe and Kabila on Monday revealed that Mugabe instructed Kabila to tell Tvangirai to ‘face the problems and not run away.’ Joseph Kabila who met Mugabe for a full four hours Monday is now expected to meet Tsvangirai on Tuesday.

Despite the fact that the leaders of Mozambique, Swaziland and Zambia are meeting on Thursday in Maputo to discuss the crisis, Kabila quickly headed to Harare to speak directly with Mugabe and Tsvangirai in his personal capacity on Monday.

It is widely believed in both the Congo and Zimbabwe that Joseph Kabila was hand picked by Mugabe and the Congolese army leadership to lead the country immediately upon his father, Laurent Kabila’s death in 2001. The relationship between Kabila and Mugabe is thus largely viewed as philanthropic and a compromise to SADC’s standpoint as regards Zimbabwe’s political turmoil.

However, Tsvangirai has said that if the three-leader Mozambique summit did not yield results, he would press for a full summit of the 15-member Southern African Development Community. He did not however, mention whether he would attend the Maputo meeting.

Last week Mugabe referred to Tsvangirai as a ‘lunatic in the house’ However, in apparent sudden panic, Mugabe, speaking to reporters on Monday, did not disclose his knowledge of the 3 member Mozambique summit, but declared:

“We are ready to brief the regional leaders on the problems we are facing.”

Farai, who told you that Kabila was put by Mugabe? Can you give us sources?

MUGABE AND KABILA HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP WHATSOEVER. As far as i know Kabila actually hates Mugabe.

Ana Sam murivanana, chakafukidza dzimba matenga. Unotamba nekamudhara aka the truth you don’t know is he is not only dictating in Zimbabwe but also DRC as well. Joe Kabila was put there nekamudhara aka as he was single and Supa Mandiwanzira’s lawful and wedded wife Grace Mugabe’s younger sister was snatched and handed over to him and so one done. Morgan will have to win by sticking his guns out by refering to signed and sealed MOU/GPA/GNU agreements otherwise he wont win in this saga, mind you for far too long SADC was and has always been parroting to Zanu-PF and R. G. Mugabe mantra -MY FOOT!

Whether rwavhi control Zibila Jnr is neither here nor there. Whether zibila dresses down save is still neither here nor there. The issue here is isu rwavhi hatichdi. He has been playing dirty trciks since the day he entered politics.. form zanu from zapu, kill chitepo, tongo, plan tribal war against nkomo and you name it. this man should go the hague not remain at state house. So the point is even obama bless rwavhi the point is isu anhu hatichadi kana kuti takagara tisingadi rwavhi and cohorts.isu ana mutape hatimbovhunduka kuti kabila waitei.after all he was kicked upstairs because his father has passed on. pamwe rwavhi ari kuda kusiya rwavhi junior paposition zvino iso toite suicide bombing ipapo!!!

I still doubt it that Mugabe can instruct Kabila. Yes Kabila is young boy, but he’s now at the top of SADC. Most of these guys now hate Mugabe or your own informaiton
