Stanford Biti calls for a video camera

London(ZimEye) Finance Minister, Tendai Biti’s brother, Stanford Biti has repeatedly called for video journalists to come and film him declaring that MDC leaders in the United Kingdom want to kill him, it has been revealed.

After running away from a police scene in Milton Keynes, Stanford soon afterwards repeatedly began to call for journalists to come and film him saying that the MDC leaders had already ripped his trousers and that he would have died had he not escaped. His claims came just after an ‘unidentified man’ had attacked the MDC’s UK leaders with a bunch of eggs at the Milton Keynes held MDC meeting. However, many people present at the incident have made witness statements saying that it was actually Biti who had picked up eggs and attacked MDC national chairman, Jonathan Chaora and another member, known as Peter Matsa who was in the car park with other party members.

Immediately after this ordeal which took place in September, the police were called onto the scene and investigations commenced and there was also a lot of chaos in the building until MDC ambassador, Emily Madamombe took control of the situation after managing to cool down the atmosphere.

Speaking with a ZimEye journalist after the meeting, Stanford Biti denied the allegations raised against him stating that he was also a victim in the incident.

“I went home on foot, running away from them”, Biti said

Since that day Biti began to call on journalists to come to his house and film him stating his case that:

“if you really care about Zimbabwe, then you would come immediately, now!” Biti in desperation raised his voice at another journalist who had questioned value justification for the filming making venture, saying that Biti’s house was too far, being more than 300 miles away.

Another online publication, had on its website an apologetic article saying in bold words: “Controversial Biti, but most rational Zimbabwean“. In this article, the author claimed to have traced ‘traced Stanford down to Tendai Biti but yet there never had been dialogue between the author and Zimbabwe’s Finance minister.

Another MDC member said recently that Stanford Biti is a disgrace to his brother, defining him as

“stupid”

“How can anyone kill you in broad daylight in front of everyone” he argued.

Stanford is also a member of a campaign he runs together with fugitive former MDC parliamentarian, Elliot Pfebve. In their campaign the two claim that the MDC has had money stolen from its bank account amounting to £54 000. Another MDC member who spoke on condition of anonymity described Stanford as the only prodigal child in his family stating that he has been hardly in good relations with his brother, Tendai Biti.(ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

He is a charlatan and very stupid. People from Southend must ditch him because he has an agenda to destroy MDC in the UK. We will not let him do so since our party is for eveybody with a wish to bring democracy to Zimbabwe. We do not need such petty distractions in our struggle. Aluta continua!!
