London(ZimEye)A Sponsored charity walk is to be held from Nottingham to Derby town centre next week Sunday, in the memory of the late MP for Manicaland Central, John Nyamande(centre-pictured) who died in what some people have said was a mysterious car accident last year. The walk has been arranged to fundraise for Nyamande’s constituency’s impoverished village dwellers.

Speaking to ZimEye, MP Nyamande’s son, Kudzai said that the sponsored walk will help fulfil his father’s passion for his local people.

“Our aim is to carry through some of his desires in terms of supporting the people in his constituency…” Kudzai said

Kudzai Nyamande also spoke of various community building projects including a football tournament which the fund is to make provision for.

In the charity walk to be held on Sunday the 14th March, people are to take a 15 mile walk from Nottingham to Derbyand it is expected to last between 4 and 5 hours.
