Abductions Mukoko Morgan Tsvangirai Injuries ZAPU ZANU PF army killingsPublished: July 29, 2010
HARARE(ZimEye) – ZANU-PF in Harare on Thursday automatically declared President Robert Mugabe’s sister, Sabina Mugabe, who died in the early hours of the same day, a national heroine.
She will be buried at the national acre in Harare on Sunday.
Sabina Mugabe who was battling with her life for a long time died in Harare on Thursday morning at the age of 81.
Announcing the burial arrangements, ZANU-PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo said “We met in the morning as the politburo and agreed that Sabina be given that respect. Her body is going to be taken to Zvimba on Friday where it will spend one night and then be brought back to Harare on Saturday before burial on Sunday at the national shrine” he said.
Sabina bowed down from active politics due to ill health before the 2008 harmonised elections. Sources had earlier indicated that the former Mashonaland West Provincial politician’s condition was worrying.

Sabina ... - will be buried at the national acre in Harare on Sunday.
She served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Makonde East in 1985 and later became the legislator for Zvimba South between 1990 and 2008. She was also a member of the ZANU-PF women’s league serving as its national secretary for production and labour.
During her time in active politics Sabina was part of what seemed to be the Mugabe political dynasty with President Mugabe ruling the country while she served in parliament with her two sons and their cousin, prominent businessman Philip Chiyangwa. She was also named as a key person during the violent farm invasions that began in 2000. (ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

Mugabe will not die until all of you have died.
My intelligence sources in the CIO tell me this is just about immortal, of course not like Jesus, but he’s arguably more immmortal than most of you.
Continue dreaming

1.Where does the automatically come into it?
2. What is the definition of hero?
3. If objective criteria are not used the institution will be automatically down graded,

Choyachatsva can she lie next to Tongo, Joshua, Mzee, Basopo, Nikita? It sucks to turn a family tragedy into a national event. Which other ordinary MP has been given this status. Variation of conditions of service and benefits is not the way to go. Its plain ridiculous and the true hero must be turning in their graves.
