Gono’s services are no longer required thumbnail

Analysis(ZimEye) Tendai Biti’s declaration that Zimbabwe’s dollar is now dead are direct words subtly conveyed to Reserve Bank governor, Gideon Gono that his services are no longer required.

 

According to the constitution of Zimbabwe, the Reserve Bank governor manages monetary policy and when the currency dies, monetary policy immediately looses its purpose. Both Gono and Biti obviously know the whole meaning of this.

 

After monetary policy has become impotent, the man at the helm of the whole fiscal organism takes up space and squeezes into the fray. When the dust settles, and the glory begins to be seen, only one man will be praised. That will be the Finance minister. Tendai Biti ‘will’ be Zimbabwe’s Gordon Brown, as during the flowery days of Tony Blair.

 

The MDC obviously do not want to share this glory with anyone, beginning with Mr Gideon Gono, who has many times boasted to be on the World Bank list of wanted professionals, and who also claims that the United States government has ‘begged’ him to take up a top IMF job.

 

The MDC has for a long time desired that the Reserve Bank Governor be removed from office and another person take up his place. However, will Gono’s absence essentially guarantee any change to Zimbabwe’s ailing economy? Everyone believes it will, and in fact most critics echo the same sentiments. But Zimbabwe’s economy is powered by agriculture, and this sector has experienced a perpetual decline since Mugabe began siezing legally owned farm land from white farmers in 2000. This chaotic move is widely seen by economists to be the direct cause of Zimbabwes woes which has also brought the country to its knees.

  

Tendai Biti smiled with Robert Mugabe live on national Television on Thursday (pic above) in such a glorious way seen by many to reflect that Biti has now taken the driving seat of the economy, will work well with Mugabe, but this will happen in Gideon Gono’s absence , or rather silence. But what will happen to Gono? Gono might just as well turn into a phantom stooge hidden in the Samora Machel RBZ building, and maybe, he will go back to cook some more tea.     Ya. Zvatanga manje. Things are now working theger! The strategy is to eliminate ZANU PF one by one. Removing Gono might not weaken Mugabe in any way though

    That can only explain that Gono is a genius he is good imagine from a tea boy to a Reserve Bank Governor. Gono whatever you did during your tenure at Reserve bank good or bad but you are a genius you managed to keep Zimb going regardless of the world saying Zim is on its knees. The inflation was too high never happened in any country and survival but Gono survived. You are a real crisis manager. You got a job and you did it keep it up. Also guys remember Gono, a teaboy to one of the most influancial positions in a country. He is just like the Prime Minister remember he was once a teaboy at Trojan Nicle mine.

    Gono crashed the economy by printing money and buying US dollars on the black market. I know this because I dealt with his guys. I made money by supplying them with Greenbacks. In one deal, I made 1000 us dollars in 1 minute by trading currency. Why? Because of inflation. Yes inflation was good if you were dealing. He was dealing so it was good for him. How do you explain that when new currency came out (operation new dawn) the notes were at road port (downtown Harare, also known as world bank) before the banks even had them. It was because he was supplying them to the black market.

    He is also involved in fuel supply, gold, diamonds, etc. This is why Zanu needs time to get out of power. They know their time is up. They just need to clean the house so to speak to make sure their wealth does not disappear.

    Gono mansion in Borrowdale Brooke has a PBX telephone system that links up to all rooms, he has plasma tv’s in all 30 bedrooms. He has custom imported granite tiles throughout the house. Not even locally sourced granite. Imported. He even bought a USD $300,000.00 Mercedes Brabus s class. Better than the presidents.

    This man and his close associates looted the country for all its worth. They are all living in Joburg and Cape Town buying Bently’s, Aston Martins, etc. Their time will come. They have caused too much suffering and Mugabe knows this. That is why he has sold them out to MDC.

    Gono bankrolled Political violence from the central bank. Zanu PF murderers were paid per every corpse, that prompted them to kill more MDC activists to earn more.

    Gono acquired double cab latest Nissan Navara`s, Toyota Hiluxes, Mahindra`s deemed “juntas” for Zanu PF campaign. How much does a 4×4 Nissan Navara cost? Does Zimbabwe manufacture those cars? How much money pumped out of the Reserve Bank for the cars?

    Gono printed Zim Dollars to purchase forex on the black market to acquire proparties for Zanu PF gurus.

    He also bought Buses for ZNA and Police which were painted in Zupco colours for deploying armed soldiers, youth millitias and the notorius PISI officers to campaign for Zanu PF. They perpetrated the gukurahundi style of campaign violence.

    So to TB, Gono should leave now to purve way for an apolitical governer to take office.

    don`t put the blame on Gono.It all started with the war vets demsnding compensation, following up orders from the boss to print more money.so in one way or the other he was a professional in his own field;managing to please his boss and sustain the economy at least for a handful of people.

    The confessions of a Killer – My story

    I have worked in the Central Inteligency Organisation (CIO) for a long time.
    I joined them in 1997 through my late uncle.

    My involvement started at a very tender age, I was involved in the murder of
    Tichaona Chiminya and Talent Mabika in 2000, I was 19 at that time.
    From August 2000-July 2003 I was one of the many operatives based at the
    University of Zimbabwe led by David Matsikidze .

    When I finished my BA general degree programme I joined them on a full time
    basis.

    I left the CIO in October 2008 after they killed my wife. My bosses were
    complaining that since I got married the previous year I wasn’t giving my
    work due attention and my wife and five month old daughter died in baffling
    inferno circumstances.

    I was called from my Guruve assignment only to hear news that my wife and
    daughter had perished in a fire caused by in house electric fault.

    I’m now living with an Ex-CIO officer in another country surviving as a part
    time security guard. I will never return to Zimbabwe again.

    Because of my intelligence and academic background I was one of the young
    intelligentsia. I killed so many people during the run up to the 2008
    elections.

    I have committed so many sins and i’m sure one day i will just get rid of my
    life before they do.

    Even though I was changing two CAM and Mahindra trucks I never had a piece
    of mind and I just resorted to beer and dagga all the time. I was always
    praised for quick thinking and was part of the Operations think tank.

    I was involved in the so called assassination of Perence Shiri. For your
    information Perence was never shot.

    The motive behind all this was to incriminate the United States Agency for
    International Development (USAID) and pave way for assassination of Mr
    Tendai Biti.

    As a result Frank Muchirahondo a USAID employee was captured at the border
    in Mutare.

    An air ticket was forged from Saviour Kasukuwere’s travel agency so as to
    look as if he wanted to fly from Maputo to Johannesburg since there was
    tapped communication that he will travel to Johannesburg .

    Perence Shiri was never shot that is why no picture of him or his wounds
    have been published or broadcasted on ZBC or the Herald.

    If it was true you would have seen everybody including the President at his
    bed side. This clearly shows that there was no attempt on General’s life.

    The whole plot was hatched by Gideon Gono, Jonathan Moyo, Service Chiefs and
    disserminated to the operations think tank which I was part of.

    Frank was an easy target because he stayed closer to one of our guys who was
    well aware that he was working for USAID as a driver.

    The initial plan was to assassinate Tendai Biti as he was viewed as a much
    more bigger threat than Morgan Tsvangirai. He is the brains behind the MDC.

    Our guys had to infiltrate John Snow, International WFP(not easy), Oxfam and
    Crowne Agents since they were funded funded by DFID and/or USAID and then
    deal with Tendai Biti.

    He was supposed to have been eliminated when he returned to Zimbabwe or at
    the end of last year when he visited his Rural home. I don’t know how the
    plan changed since I had left the CIO operations.

    When Morgan had that accident I was not surprised. I thought they were in
    the same car with Biti. I’m sure the CIO bosses changed and decided to kill
    Tsvangirai.

    The driver who almost killed Morgan was little known in CIO circles, I first
    met Chinoona Mwanda in 2007 when we were in Masvingo.

    He was a soft spoken moderate recruit and was infiltrating NGOs in the area.
    I remember very well assisting him to apply as a driver with WFP so as to
    make our operations easier.

    This is the first part of my disclosure. If I’m still alive I will reveal a
    lot of issues.

    The CIO business is like cancer if it gets into you your soul become
    restless.

    Many opposition people are going to die with or without the blessings of
    Robert Mugabe. Edward Mago – is an adopted name to protect the writer.

    no matter how small the minds might be, but the CIO like Serpent who has blood in his hands, the hard language he uses is the same language they use when tortureing people to death. He then pretends on this forum to be wanting the way forward when in truth he knows very well what he is up. He is playing with peoples minds so that people wont see the truth behind him, he is a true zanu pf, he is as good as a wolf in sheep coat.

Guys its a very big achievement in one’s life, Morgan from a Teaboy pa Trojan to a Prime Minister what else would you want.     Most of us started from humble beginings and rose to stardom. Gono from a tea boy, to CBZ, Reserve Bank Governer soon will be back to a teaboy. He has failed.

    You might condemn him as a CIO but the truth is he/she is miles ahead of most contributers to this forum.

    Serpent, brain wise you are far, far ahead of anyone here. The only lie that I hate from you is that you are in Zimbabwe, Serprnt tell the truth. Most of the people you outclass here have free internet services so how do you do it?
