A report from a church service conducted by preacher (also known as prophet) Eubert Angel says a church member experienced supernatural weight loss at the weekend during the preacher’s ministration.
The lady (pictured) is said to have instantly lost so much weight that her belt for the first time swung all the way to the 6th strap hole much to the amazement of the people.
The report states that Angel whose miracles have of late received the backing of Reserve Bank govenor Dr. Gideon Gono, performed this miracle before the eyes of everyone.
Below is the short report which however could not be independently verified:
“THE SUPERNATURAL! This lady’s waist shrunk back to the extent where she had to move her belt from the first last buckle strap to the berry last skipping more than 6 sizes inbetween. It happened right in the service after Prophet Angel declared and decreed special miracles. ‘MIRACLE WEIGHT LOSS INCLUDED’

Alleged weight loss. right-Before, right-After
The very same God dealing with these weight issues, taking away this weight from these ladies can take away any situation that it stealing your joy…

Daniel 1
“14 So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days.
15 And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young”
Many are saying that God has nothing to do with weight… how come in the issue of Daniel he cared? Yet this took only 10 days and mind you it was in the Old Testament. It was of the Old covenant. How much more we who are called by His name, us who are joined together with Christ, us to whom Jesus said, “greater works than this shall you do.” We need to burst out of our bubbles and before we start criticising we look at the Bible with the spectacles of God, not our own spectacles but his very own so that we see the word of God in God’s perspective

YOU ONLY NEED TO BE THERE TO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. The test of the pudding is not in the arguement. It is in the eating of the pudding. To all those mocking the miraculous, Hi HATER BYE HATER…

@Hiburu Ethics. Did Elijah A PROPHET not go to ZAREPHATH only for one lady’s sake? Did Jesus not pass through the well simply to make sure that the lady found her path into salvation? Did God not appear to Elijah in the wilderness and gave him a meal so that he would not die? Did God not care enough to send one like the Son of men into the fiery furnace when Daniel and his friends had been thrown into the furnace?
Do you see that God even say’s in his word, I have counted the hairs that are on your head? What does that have to do with serving or solving a national problem. There is no problem that is too big or too small in the eyes of God and even if there are, it is not in your judgement to tell one apart from another. He uses the discresion that he himself wants, not you

@WaJeso You asked “My question is does one really need a miracle to loose weight? I mean the weight of this lady is not “dangerous” as in extremely over weight!”
That’s a very stupid thing you have said there. Are you a medical doctor? How do you know if it was not dangerous? God in His word does not say I will grant you a miracle when you are in a dangerous situation. He says I will grant you the desires of your heart, now if the desire of your heart is to lose weight and your will is in alignment with God’s will, what is wrong with that?

False prophets
Hello my friends
I have continuously been asked by many about the nature of miracles taking place in some of the churches in Zimbabwe. The question I am asked is whether or not I believe in them or not. It seemed good to me to give a statement about my beliefs as it is becoming a daily occurance.
It is widely reported (to me) by trustworthy worthy sources that there are churches where gold dimonds and money are being miraculously produced. What I am them asked is whether this is a true move of God or not.
I have have absolutely no problem believing that our God can do such things, and would even go as far as to say that he does do such things from time to time.thing
I have no problem with the miracles in these churches but what worries me deeply is always the message. After all, miracles are only meant to call our attention to the message.
The message is the most important thing. The burning bush of Moses was far less important than what was said at the burning bush.
I will not force my opinion on anyone but only do want to give a strong word of caution. To whomsoever you yeild yourselves as servants to obey is your master. Do not be found wanting on the last day when you discover that you had become a servant of man and not of God. concerned
It is better my friends to err on the side of caution when your soul is concerned. Even if these guys are right (best case scenario), God will not cast you in hell for not following them as long as you followed after Jesus Christ to the best of your ability and faith.
If these guys are wrong (worst case scenario) and you followed them even bowing the knee and calling yourselves children of these men then you have something to be very afraid of at the judgement. For if they are cast in hell, then you too by extension must follow.
There is no authority on earth except that of God and that which God allowed. Jesus himself prophesied that in the last days shall come many false Christs and false prophets with lying signs and wonders and shall deceive many.
Jesus again said, many shall say Lord Lord did we not prophesy in your name and in your name do many wonderful works. Then shall I say I never knew you.
Where do we suppose these false prophets will operate? Is it in dark caves with a few deluded cult members? Will it be with smoke and mirrors with a few cheap tricks for the simple minded? Sadly No. They shall deceive many. Their signs and wonders will be powerful enough to cause even the elect to second guess. Therefore it shall be very public and very powerful.
So if you believe and are right, you stand to get miracle money and get diamonds and wealth. That’s alright, but be aware that these are just earthly treasures. To have spiritual riches you must still do good works with this wealth and you must take heed lest you be choked up by the deceitfulness of riches, the love of which is the root of all evil.
Now if you are wrong, you arrived exposing yourself to forces you do not understand and are putting your immortal soul in great peril. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom. It is good to be afraid of God in this matter.
Ask yourself quietly and calmly what God truly thinks of these men. Put aside the miracles for a moment and think about the message. Is it like Jesus who taught meekness and gentlness. Is it like Jesus who exorted us not to worry about our eathly lives but rather seek First the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
If Jesus came today would he really behave as these men do? Would He preach as they preach? Would He dress as the dress? Would He have bodyguards and live the most expensive hotels? Would He charge admission to some of His services? We He give special seats to wealthy “partners” of the ministry right in the front? No, the approval of Jesus to such things is a dubious proposition at best!
Another funny thing is how there is very little mention of Jesus in these services. And very often no mention at all of His second coming. No mention of the last days prophesied by Jesus. All prophecy has been reduced to current earthly matters. The men who give these messages are heroes and masters, not servants like Jesus who washed His disciples feet.
So are we really to believe that Jesus did not have the “finacial intelligence” to purchase a chariot and have armed centurions escorting Him everywhere.Jesus walked on foot and was ready not only suffer but to die for his simple message of love and forgiveness.
So where does the confusion come from. It comes from half truths and in some cases outright lies, eloquently expressed and clothed with the power of wealth. The half truth is that God doesn’t want you to be poor. The whole truth is that God wants you to prosper in your spirit as well as in your body. Now all that is preached is physical wealth and this is wrong.
Rhetoric is taught with some colourful Greek catch phrases and a many witty remarks. All designed to be very entertaining and soothing, distracting souls from seeking God for themselves and encouraging rather that we give place to these mighty “spiritual territorial commanders”.
In the end, people feel too impotent to speak to God themselves and have become slaves to those who have claimed to have a superior standing with God. So we are robbed of the finished work of Christ on Calvary and are left to grovel like dogs week after week for “a word”.
Yet for all the heroe worship only a few receieve the hollowed words of prophecy, and the rest are subjected to one pathetic excuse after another to get them to give more more and money for unspecified uses in the name of Faith and “breakthroughs”.
And what ever happened to the once revered Jesus? Jesus was tried, found difficult and ignored. God will not put a stop to these men for a long time. He wants to seperate the sheep from goats. The greedy, the impatient and the wicked will always be willing to forfeit the voice of their conscience to get a quick fix. Take heed lest you are found to be a goat at the end of the age. Amen.

I like the fact that of all the people who have criticised you at least have kept an open mind and digested things with more brain matter than most wafflers. However there are grey areas you smoothered with ink and gave preconceived misconception.
You touched on the issue of THESE MAN CHARGING ADMISSION FEES for some of their services, well for us to know of the miracle of the coins in the fish, we know Jesus paid money to get into church, don’t we? You are either saying Jesus was into bribbery or that He acted against his word. which in any case we kno God made His word a law unto himself, the day he goes against it is the day He ceases to be God. Do you see how flawed your reasoning there was? We are left therefore to conclude that he ddnt mind being charged to get into church. But now look at the extreemes of Jesus, rather than just taking your offering or entrance fee Jesus would actually tell you to sell all you have and leave your family.

You have also mentioned how these men of God never preach the comming of Jesus. If you were well informed and up to date you would know that the longest played sermon on Miracle Tv is My Vision of Hell which talks about the comming of Jesus. In fact there is a time when this was the only sermon on miracle tv for a period of two months. Where do you get your information? You need to to get your facts together first and present your case in a better researched way.
How can you even mention that Jesus is scarcely mentioned in the church. In which sermon did you not hear the name of Jesus being preached? Give me at least two you know and tell me what it is they talk about.
Jesus was not as poor as you all say you know. He wore expensive perfume just one day that would cost a year’s wages, he wore a seamless garment, you might need to research what that means and why would Jesus create a horse if he ddnt want someone to ride it. Should we say the horse was therefore created for the heathens…. that’s totally ubsurd. What we can however conclude is Jesus chose not to ride on one but certainly didnt make it a law for anyone else not to otherwise we would have a commandment saying, “thou shalt not ride a horse.”
Well Ive got news…It’s not there!
Jesus himself was burried in one of the most expensive graves ever yet the bible say’s he was humble unto death… so if his humility and obedience allowed his dead body to enter into an expensive grave then what more our live ones? Did he not dine with the rich and what kind of food did he eat such that he even mentioned the scripture, “The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.”
Ask yourself what they must have seen him eating for them to say that and you will get your answer.
You should ask yourself why you want to be a Christian when you advocate for a live out of the bounds of what Christ represents, If the Bible tells us that Christ became poor so that we may be rich, what does it mean? What does that make us? Where does that leave us? If we are poor does that not nuliffy the one purporse we are given why Jesus became poor? If Christ left heaven the splender of his riches, should we not ask ourselves why our Lord resides in the abode of riches, when he wants us to live in lack, what does that say about our God? Doe that not make him a pimp?

I will not waste any more time on you, just these two issues and I will leave you alone,
You mentioned:
“There is no authority on earth except that of God and that which God allowed.”
Why then Did Jesus leave his salvation in the arms of Apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists? Why if He did not make them an authority would he leave the salvation of His children in their hands?
Look at this scripture closely and see,
luke 16:30-31
“And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
YOU SEE! The most important resource which is salvation God himself even says he has laid in in the hands of man. MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, he specifies. Has God not made his servants authorities if in them he has bestowed the most important resource in his hands… SALVATION, Abraham clearly say’s there is no one from heaven or hell who can bring salvation to a person on earth since God has already provisioned through his sent servants and you tell me God has not sent and made authorities of his man. Does a sent servant not carry the strength of the Law? A young lady who is a police officer outside her duty ranks, she is weak and frail but when she is clothed with the state powers and assignment, she carries the force of the entire legal system. This is the same with those to whom God has entrusted with the salvation of His children.
You also mentioned:
“Jesus himself prophesied that in the last days shall come many false Christs and false prophets with lying signs and wonders and shall deceive many.”
This is the same Jesus who said salvation is in the hands of Moses and God’s prophets, so the existence of a fake implies an original, tell me one original prophet you know, at least one maybe. You take part of the scripture and manipulate it to give you powers of evading God’s word, take it in it’s entirity. If God said the salvation of His children lies in Moses and the prophets then that means there are true prophets in existence which I stand to claim in all boldness Prophet Angel and Prophet Makandiwa are some of them.
Don’t fill the children of God with fear and skepcism. Take the word of God for what it is worth.
Moses was of the Levite tribe, he is the one who introduced the law of tithing and offering unto Israel. He told them to give a 10th to the priests and the rest towards God as burnt offerings. Tell, if the Levite tribe was a 1/12th of Israel and were fed by the remaining 11/12th population, getting 10 % plus other offerings, and mind you this was from the portion of their best. was this not rampant wealth accumulation and larvish living. They didnt even work for heavens sake.
YOU SEE, THE MOSES’ PICTURE YOU HAVE IS A WRONG ONE, YOU DIDNT THINK HIM THROUGH YET HE IS QUOTED EVERYWHERE IN THE BIBLE, EVEN BY JESUS HIMSELF

Daniel 1
“14 So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days.
15 And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young”
They asked for a diet of vegetables and appeared healthier after 10 days. They did not seek for a miracle without obeying a principle. They obeyed God, eating food inspired and instructed by spiritual teaching.
Miracles happen, miracles are more relevant when they occur between an individual and God.
Jesus is a miracle worker. Healing the blind, casting demons, forgiving condemned adulterers. Life changing miracles. God can help you do something you have failed to do by yourself.
When miracles become a show case without emphasis on obeying God’s principles it becomes difficult to distinguish the spirit of a righteous God and vanity.
For sometime man can speak and do wonders on behalf of God. When God speaks even those who profess God’s power are weighed and examined. Test the spirit of God by outcomes. A true miracle connects human need with divine purpose.
It is performed to establish a better knowledge of God’s presence, love and power. Great miracles are ones when an individual’s faith is increased and God’s name is praised.
You look at what was impossible in your life and you see things working out because you have trusted in God’s power to change your situation.
God’s miracles are continuous in one’s life through faith ,prayer and doing God’s will. I love simple miracles when someone chooses to mend bridges with someone they had a misunderstanding with. Praise God for the Lord is good.

Jesus himself said in LUKE 10:13,
“Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.”
Miracles are therefore indeed not more relevant ‘between individuals’ as you say. In the case of Jesus he explicitly made it clear that these miracles were leading people to repentance. HE DIDNT SAY THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION WHICH I PREACHED however not undermining the importance of preaching. Were you there to conclusively conclude as you have that no message of salvation was preached or these are just rumblings of a tramp that you picked up and pocketed?
Now let me take you to THE MIRACLE OF LAZARUS’ resurrection from the dead. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why Jesus didn’t go to heal Lazarus when he was sick yet he only went when Lazarus was dead?
Mind you he was told in good time but he chose to come at a time when the mourners and the whos whoz were there. He made a public display of the resurrection power of God. This was not private and it was not a mending of bridges either, it was not about misunderstandings or what. You gospel is therefore not the gospel of Christ but the gospel of religion.
Let me take you again to Jesus, do you notice how Jesus went to the pool of Bethesda and healed the sick there, this man did not do it in secret, he went there out in the open and demonstrated the power of God for the salvation of man. He did not go there and preach love only and dispute resolve.
You said also, “They asked for a diet of vegetables and appeared healthier after 10 days. They did not seek for a miracle without obeying a principle. They obeyed God, eating food inspired and instructed by spiritual teaching.”
How do you know that the people who received the miracles disobeyed the principles of God by eating food inspired and instructed by spiritual teaching? Who made you Judge over Israel and where in the bible, ‘OLD TESTAMENT’ was it written for Daniel that “THOU SHALT DO 10 DAYS OF EATING VEGIES”
If it is not there then you are stupid to think that since God did it then in 10 days, he cannot do it in 1 or an instance. Did he not say, “If you only believe, thou shalt say to the mountain move and be cast into the ocean? What good is a mountain to a person? If a person can move a mountain with just one word in an instance, what more body weight?
Open up to the word and look at it not only from the corner of the eye because that’s where religion and tradition reside

@Gezi. I never criticized your miracle. I asked from a thinking man’s perspective. Surely you can’t tell me that blood is green and not red simply because you want to create a miracle for yourself. Your miracle will never be mine. It’s just a question of perpectives. Look at the critical comments above. At least two more people have raised the same issue about a supposed lack of difference. How on earth can you even dream about an elastic jean trousers? All to authenticate a miracle? I’m not there to say your prophet is fake or genuine but I have taken a word or two from @Ndakatiza’s thesis above. S/he was not all wrong. One word to you followers of Uebert: Don’t ever think that you can monopolize GOD – He is too big to be taken by an individual or group of individuals. Never ever think ndimi munonamata kupinda munhu wese muZim muno. Mwari ndiMwari, munhu munhu. And GOD will never allow Himself to be used by men to further their agenda. He can allow it but when He recompenses, He consumes by fire (an emblem for judgement). We will know you by your fruit and time will tell… Asambeni!

@Garwe, i said miracles are relevant between individuals and God. Jesus did not call people to say come and see miracles.
As the situation arose He perfomed micracles. His miracles came through compassion as His spirit battled with the evil. In many miracles He combined forgiveness and encouraging faith. In my life i have seen great miracles when i thought i could not manage the situation. Every person prays for miracles and breakthroughs.
I would not dispute miracles in any person’s life as it is a matter of their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
What i am taking caution on is miracles that dont emphasise the need to obey God ‘s principle. And i am also taking caution of a situation where performing miracles becomes more important than learning more about the truth from God’s word.
Garwe you are a christian, a fervent believer i suppose, i however ask you to show more humility by measuring your words. Remember Simon Peter began to sink while walking on water because or pride he personalised a miracle that happened through Jesus’ power.
Clearly i don’t doubt miracles, but its standard in christian belief to test the
authority and truth behind miracle workers. For a spirit is tested by its real fruits.
God will not work miracles of games like, your phone number or door number.God can seed money or resources to people, God can shower blessings and wealth. However God will not work this as an alternative to your work and effort.
When humanity is called to God, there is an essential mission to be accomplished.
Yes christianity does not limit success, it actually empowers transformation to a better life.
The essential mission is for humanity to believe in the power of the cross to remove sin, greed, selfishness, pride, envy, adultery, idolatry and lead humanity to the truth.
The world and everything in it will be destroyed. And a new heaven and earth with God’s kingdom will take place of the former things. Those who believe that Jesus Christ is the saviour will live to eternity.
Let God be praised for only God is holy and worthy to be praised.

25 “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ 26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, 27 who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.
28 “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream;
And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.
What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord.
29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord,
“And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
30 “Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets,” says the Lord, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’ 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the Lord, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the Lord.
33 “So when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, ‘What is the oracle of the Lord?’ you shall then say to them, ‘What oracle?’[b] I will even forsake you,” says the Lord. 34 “And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ I will even punish that man and his house. 35 Thus every one of you shall say to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, ‘What has the Lord answered?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’ 36 And the oracle of the Lord you shall mention no more. For every man’s word will be his oracle, for you have perverted the words of the living God, the Lord of hosts, our God. 37 Thus you shall say to the prophet, ‘What has the Lord answered you?’ and, ‘What has the Lord spoken?’ 38 But since you say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’ therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Because you say this word, “The oracle of the Lord!” and I have sent to you, saying, “Do not say, ‘The oracle of the Lord!’” 39 therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence. 40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’”
