Tendai Biti’s brother attacked me – MDC official thumbnail

(MILTON KEYNES) An MDC leader was attacked with a bunch of eggs Saturday during the MDC’s annual Assembly at Milton Keynes. The MDC official, Peter Matsa (right-centre) has said that Zimbabwe Finance Minister’s brother, Stanford Biti is the man who splashed eggs on him.

“He is known …he is Zimbabwean; his name is Stanford Biti. He is known by all the people,” Matsa, from Southbeds said in Shona.

“Anozivikanwa kana ari wekuZimbabwe; anonzi Stanford Biti. Anozivikanwa nevanhu vese…”

When our reporter inquired further on the evidence, Matsa was quick to say

“All these people have pictures and it is all clear. There is no statement I can give apart from the clear evidence before all…”

However at the time of writing, there was not a single photograph or video footage to suggest that Biti attacked the elderly man.

Matsa also mourned:

“What have I done? I am known to be a ‘Man of Suits” – Mudhara weMasuits, implying that the attacker did this in order to embarass him during the emotional commotion which took place at Milton Keynes when most of the attendants to the meeting broke into uncontrolled shouts of anger.

Immediately after this ordeal, the police were called onto the scene and investigations commenced. There was also a lot of chaos in the building until MDC ambassador, Emily Madamombe took control of the situation after managing to cool down the atmosphere.

In a separate interview with ZimEye, Stanford Biti denied the allegations raised against him stating that he was also a victim in the incident. He accuses Matsa of hiding behind the MDC in order to destroy it, and says that Matsa is a ZANU PF member who is still working for President Robert Mugabe.

“I went home on foot, running away from them”, Biti said

It is also reported that the MDC’s Information an Publicity Officer, Matthew Nyashanu also took off in his car and never returned back after this incident, more than 3 hours before the meeitng was over. Other MDC leaders left the building in apparent retreat. These included Chairman, Jonathan Chaora, among others.

However, Nottingham Zimbabwe Community Network chairman, Regis Manyanya has said that the leaders should not have left, and should have also stood up to clarify the issues which people were requesting answers for.

    If this is true, this a true embarassment for Tendai Biti, but our party is not affected. Every party in the world has its problems. There are people who are there just to cause discord

    thie is how democracy works.Tsvangirai is the trouble cozer.Most of MDC officials are Zanu PF this is true.Thy used to crack down tiri kuzimbabwe.thy should go.

    I wonder why people fight for stupid political reasons. MDC was formed from a broad-based civic movement opposed to Mugabe`s misrule.

    MDC is of a diverse back ground, where even the founding President was once a card carrying member of Zanu PF.

    I am fascinated by the behaviour exhibited by some suppossed UK MDC activists, they poke other people`s nose accusing them of being Zanu PF supporters without evidence.

    People should appreciate the fact that we can not all be leaders. If anyone believe that s/he can be a better leader, should follow democratic means to be elected into party structures. Physical abuse of others, is not tolerated, its bad.

    If this is true, Stanford should be condemned. With who`s authourity does he go around attacking senior party officials?

    No one is challenging the bloated Zimbabwe Government of National Unity, whilst Zanu PF thugs are living lavishly on money stolen from taxpayers. You are busy in-fighting for no apparent reasons.

    MDC is a movement that is joined voluntarily. It is attaining power peacefully. If you are not happy with it, simply walk out of it. Bad elements within the party hide behind it`s name, try to impose their own violent ideologies, incite violence and divisons within it.

    We are also alive to the fact that we have certain people who have elevated themselves to be the Godfathers of divisions and destruction of the Party particularly in the United Kingdom

    For the record we are aware that we have some elements within our structures masquerading as party activists, yet they are CIO agents.

    The root cause of the problems lie in the fact that people have joined the MDC for different reasons. Some genuinely believe in change while some are there for mapapers, Home Office, with the most evil ones who seek to destroy the people’s movement, through the writing of such divisive opinions have been planted by CIO’s.

    Serpent. This area is for academics and not lay people.

    You need go into the library and study a bit on a phenomena called the Philosophy of Strife.

    The problem with the MDC is not personalities but is embedded in the heart of a mentality that refuses to recognise the dynamism and intricacies of strife.

    I will be available tomorrow to teach you on this subject.

    I will also make my lectures available in Shona and Sindebele.

    A genuine man is tested by how well he utlises his brain faculties. In the same way we shall know the counterfeit nature of that fake.

    I was there , Mudhara wemasuit is Zanu. Biti(the brother) was being used as a scape goat. Mudhara wemasuit was trying think he is the big chef and not take input from anyone. Biti is the only one that stood up to him and he didnt like it. Mtasa then threatened violence at which Biti said he was not there for that.
