Abductions Mukoko Morgan Tsvangirai Injuries ZAPU ZANU PF army killingsPublished: September 28, 2009
Harare(ZimEye)Terrorism charges against Zimbabwean rights activist, Jestina Mukoko have been thrown out after a court ruled she had been inhumanly tortured while in custody.
The judgement comes as a refreshing relief as the Supreme Court granted Jestina Mukoko a permanent stay of prosecution after she told how security agents took her from her home and beat her.
Mukoko was accused of plotting to topple President Robert Mugabe (ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

Common sense should prevail against the forces of darkness. Was she really a national security threat? Abirtrary use of power to trample on the rights of innocent citizens is misgovernance. She should sue these hoodlums for damages as this is clearly an affront on her and uncivilised conduct.

This is a victory not only for Jestina but for the fight for democracy and respect for human rights.A paradigm shift from unwarranted detention and torture has been established.

The security for Zimabwe is f*****d up.Was Jestina a real threat or they just dont want anyone who deals with human rights because they reguard us Zimbabwean not to be human. I think we are like cats and dogs in their eyes. As for John Banda please go back to Malawi quietly, we dont have a Banda in Zimbabwe.
