  1. As a black zimbabwean, I fill Mugabe has not only outstayed his welcome as leader of the country, but has let down the liberation course. I cant for example understand how a man who fought for universal franchise can deny the same to a third of the country’s citizens who now for no fault of their own reside outside zimbabwe’s borders.
however, I also find it a bit rich whenever western media and whites in general appear to suggest mugabe as the wosrt dictator on the continent. mugabe has reportedly been singled out along with a few other africa leaders for ostracisation. he cannot be allowed to see the US president with fellow african leaders due to governance issues and political repression in zimbabwe and the Uk’s prime minister makes such a big issue of him when europe is supposed to meet africa (the EU africa summit). Yet if mugabe is not welcome for his actions at home, how come notorious dictaors like Paul Kagame – perhaps the only know african leader to order cross border and cross continent assasinations of dissident citizens is eagerly invited?? how about Yoweri Museveni – his partner in crime in east africa and the DRC? thses are just two of quite a few african leaders who get a node and a wink despite despicable human rights abuses at home.
To me the targetting of Mugabe appears to more than confirm the fear that his chief crime was to allow the invasion and repossession of farming land from the world’s arian race – the whites.
even after it became knwon that mugabe’s 6th brigade committed heinous attrocities in matebelelend, he continued to recieve accolades including honorary degrees in western capitals, so what changed after 2000???

  2. Kana idzo nharo dzacho, hasha ndedzeiko Mangwana. You can’t rig the economy. Simples.

  3. I sometimes dont like to debate or argue on certain issues, but on Silungisani’s point of view, i vehemently disagree with him. Praising a failed Mugabe is a little bit naive,he was supposed to pass the belt after a successful 2terms in office but amazingly he recently said no succession debate becz i am stil alive.Yoooooh is this a democraticaly elected leader?,I would love to hear wat other zanusts say on this one.No surprise if they say yes becz even Bona is fearful to say dad its tym to retire becz the CIO wil bound on her.

  4. Why cant we have such debates on our national airwaves, there z really nothing wrong wth tht, especially whn the opposition z in trouble as t is, it wl be easy for Zanu to outdo the MDC.

  5. Both these guys arguments are pointless. Both do not see the real issues of Zimbabwe

  9. Cde Robert Gagriel Mugabe is a Zimbabwean hero…who do not like him will distort any thing of his stature…Mugabe is not clinging to power…Zimbabwean majority of Zimbabwean vote him to power..opposition like the MDC-T and its like of Obert Gutus will always calling him an old man….can Obert Gutu tell me if he have an old man at his home..can he chase him away…about sabotaging the Zimbabwean economy…the opposition is using sanctions as a weapon to talk the ZANU-PF as a failour…those are lies from MDC-T…ZANU-PF government will succeed with its Zim-Asset policy……..obert Gutu is a Parliametary candidate loser in July 2013…what is he talking about..Zimbabweans rejected him, total rejected to be in the legislature..Mugabe was voted by the Zimbabwean 2/3 of Zimbabwean voted him to power…..Obert Gutu ..Morgan Tsvangirai is dead and buried
