(Leicester)Heavyweight boxer Dereck Chisora, caused embarrassing disturbances among his own Zimbabwean countrymen at the music show of famous visiting musician Alick Macheso.
Previously, Chisora(pictured) has in recent months been involved in shameful skirmishes that have soiled the history of the British boxing profession.
The heavyweight boxer caused a scene among show attendants at Macheso’s show in Leicester where people had to boo him after he forced his way onto the stage and tried to physically force an artistic dancer who was in the middle of performance away from the dance floor. The dancer dressed in distinct white attire was shocked to see Chisora rudely forcing him away from the stage just before people began heckling at Chisora in protest for him to leave the stage. It was only after realizing that the crowd was not amused that a visibly humiliated Chisora quickly descended from the stage.
In another shameful scene, Chisora was seen pushing another man with his strong hands held firmly into the man’s arms.
The commotion continued soon after as attendants say he went across the hallway forcibly grabbing all the money from gatekeepers and altering accounting figures in the process. When approached by ZimEye Chisora did not deny taking money from gatekeepers as he also claimed that he had himself duly sponsored the whole show.

Put “all the money in this event”
When asked to comment, Chisora claimed that he had put “all the money for the event”, he said.
Contradiction
But Chisora’s statements contradict facts presented to ZimEye.
The boxer has not denied the validity of an interview of one of the top organisers of the Rollers Club in which a senior sponsor Mr. Marshall Gore revealed that Chisora was only one of the sponsors invited to put money into the show.

another scene...Derrick Chisora

“We teamed up with Derrick specifically for this event, and obviously after this we will evaluate and see if the partnership has been a success and if it has been perhaps we will work together at another gig…,” Gore said before the show ended.
One reliable source further disclosed to ZimEye that Chisora was not the sole investor inthe Macheso show:
“All his expenses were equally apportioned and he (Chisora) only paid £2.000 more. The rollers guys paid 8300 and he paid about 10 500 altogether for venue hires, air tickets, P.A. system, hotel accomodation as Macheso’s fees were raised through gate takings. He came without any deposit.
“They ordered alcohol and he put his people both as bar attendants and at the door. He was collecting money from both the bar and door at regular intervals without any accounting and pocketing the proceeds in both shows. He only took out payment for Macheso but refused to say how much was released at the doors and bars, only to tell them they ran at a loss and even bullishly saying he has taken his money which he put. The rest of the guys made a serious loss as the money they put was never recovered.”

Rudely interrupted Macheso’s interview
At the end of the show, Chisora continued to cause havoc when he rudely disturbed Macheso while he was being interviewed by a journalist.
Chisora barged into Macheso’s interview and interrupted the maestro musician as he talked to Majuru, stating that the journalist he had not sought his permission to interview Macheso.
Witnesses claim that Chisora shouted at Macheso.
But the boxer denied shouting in Macheso’s presence.
embarrassment...Chisora

“No one shouted at him(Macheso). I only shouted at somebody who (sic) was trying to interview him for another two hours and then I said no that’s not what happens,” the boxer said.
Chisora claims that he had given permission for Macheso to be interviewed “for ten minutes,” but that after the ten minutes, it turned out that the journalist was taking longer.
Recorded footage shows Chisora rudely interrupting and shouting at both the journalist, Eugene Majuru and Macheso.  Contrary to his earlier claims, barely 9 minutes had elapsed when he barged into the interview room charging that he hadn’t been consulted prior to the inyerview.

Ok, ok do not worry from today I promise to keep peeping into this site. Should I spot some insults against my soon to be independent from confusion state of Mthwakazi then I will be back full time. For now we are all a people together and we behave well together. thats a fragile amnesty in case you want peace.

  13. This Chisura guy behaves like a typical Zanu PF moron. Counting gate-taking coins and pocketing them sounds desperate, not surprising considering he has proven himself a failure in the boxing ring.
Jumpdog, your behaviour on this forum also leaves a lot to be desired. Macheso is popular amongst Zimbabweans, that you in particular don’t like him is neither here nor there

  14. JumpDumpMtwakazi, phantom citizen of a phantom state on Mars. Keep on dreaming, its your constitutional right.

  15. What sort of people behave like this in foreign lands. You behave like this individualy or severaly you are then regarded as a scum severaly.
“Famous musician!” please be serious this is not Masondo or Freddy gwala or Thokozana not even Majaivana or black umfolosi so what is popular about Macheso noise. “Strong arms?” where was the okapi. Kwamthwazi you do not behave like that and leave to regret.
