Drama as Senator drowns in beer during Parliament Constitution Session

(Harare) There was drama yesterday when Zanu PF Chief and Senator, Nematombo absconded the Senate Chamber during presentation of the draft Constitution, crept out of parliament house and stole into a nearby bar where he drunk himself into a stupor before falling into a long deep sleep.
Chief Nematombo who is lord over the Hurungwe area, chose to soak himself in ice-cold Castle larger while parliamentarians were busy debating the draft constitution document.
The photo below was taken yesterday during a Senate session at 1446hrs and the chief in deep sleep still failed to wake up.
“Munotambudzireiko madzishe?( Why do you trouble the Chiefs?) ZveLegislature hazvisi zvavo izvi. (This legislature business is not for them) They must just remain custodians of our culture & have sufficient rest, ” said Zaka West MP Festus Dumbu.

“With the value given to the Copac Draft presentation to Parliament, one would expect every legislator to take Parliament seriously than soaking yourself in beer at a Parliament bar during the course of a session,” said Mr Dumbu.
Chief Nematombo was recently in the media for presiding over a trial where a woman was allegedly caught red-handed having sexual relations with her son-in-law.

  8. Festus Mukundu Ten Miles is the easiest of all places to investigate. Just get there and ask the lads who sell fruits to motorists. They will tell you that mid morning of 05.02.2013 police on horse backs were drinking beer. Ndaito dzika kumusha blaz.

  10. Poor Farmer, incidentally I happen to have seen a group of mounted police drinking around 1000hrs at a small bottle store ten miles Harare & wedza: marondera chihota cross roads. People were stunned and the comment was this is what zanu brought. So the senator exhibits a culture in zanu which people distaste.

  13. What would anyone expect, a person from Musampakaruma where cold laager is a rare phenomenon 32 yrs after independence.
    Yesterday, coming from Wedza I saw ZRP mounted on horses each one drinking a quart on horse backs at a bottle store Ten Miles. Locals were stunned. This was lawlessness.
