The MP for Buhera South, Joseph Chinotimba has furiously told ZimEye he has been defamed by a recent story which says that he has imposed a night-travel ban on buses so to ‘accommodate hyenas’ in his constituency.
Cde Chinoz as he is popularly called, told ZimEye he does not have the authority to ban buses.
“I cannot ban buses, and to cause people to suffer…I do not have power to override the Ministry of Transport. There are numerous buses travelling right now including ZUPCO,” he said, adding that the current problem with the bus he spoke about was that it was not following stipulated timetables.
If that is Chigumira (owner of bus company) saying that, I will be taking legal action,” said Chinotimba.
He said the people who are reporting that they are now traveling 30 kilometres to Buhera South, should contact him directly and not go to the media without evidence.
HON Chinotimba said he spoke against the Chigumira bus service only to discourage travelling at night due to accidents and avoiding confrontation with hyenas as it was also against long stipulated timetables …. INTERVIEW:

chinoz is right you know.a relative of mine had to wait until the hyena dissapeard and risked to go home.
