Zimbabwe Election Offensive as Welshman and Dabengwa Strike Unity
The MDC and ZAPU parties today announced a historic unity deal which is likely to see the parties fielding only one candidate for the presidency.
The result of the pact is that the parties will not be at each others throats in constituencies and in some circumstances each party shall mobilise support for the other.

This communiqué serves to notify the public that the MDC and ZAPU having met on various occasions have agreed as follows:
a) That in any constituency and or ward where one party has not fielded a candidate, the other party will mobilise its members and supporters to vote for the other party’s candidate.
b) That the parties would not discuss or enter into any pact or coalition with any other party other than with each other, namely, MDC and ZAPU (save in circumstances where an agreement would have been reached between the two parties).This was in recognition of previous discussions that had established that the two parties shared common values and principles.
c) With respect to the issue of the two parties’ Presidential candidature, the parties expressed the desirability of consolidating their share of votes by not splitting the vote. They however acknowledged the complexity of the issue and undertook to consult their respective executive committees to get guidance.
d) It was further agreed that the political parties would work towards the expansion of the level of cooperation after the forth coming elections.
The decision was today signed by Dr. Dumiso Dabengwa, Prof. Welshman Ncube, Mrs. Emelia Mukaratirwa (ZAPU Deputy), and Priscila Misihairabwi – Mushonga of Ncube’s MDC party.

UMambo lo Mzilikazi ruled together and lived harmoniously . Tsvangirai ,Makoni and Semwayo have joined hands to represent Mambo and Ncube and Dabengwa to represent Mzilikazi so that the two parties can rule together and we live in harmony.This is not tribalism but reality if the Mambos vote against the regime and the Mzilkazis do the same then the regime will fall. Simply maths the regime will not beat the two nor will it form an alliance.

Mr editor I realised last week you tried to teach some idiots some arithmatics eeh..sort of 6 x box = 18. That was good motivation for some of us but very misleading to some. Look at poor Joseph he got all that maths correct and he is now talking mathematics, not even statistics but maths.

Joseph Mtshaza thinks its about mathematics, its about reasonability stupid. Characters like Tsvangirai who persue surrender and join me policies will not go anywhere.

Look some of us will bank on the constitution to get our share of democracy so it doesnt matter whether its Zanu pretending to be MDC-T or MDC-T pretending to be zanu.We will just consolidate the votes of the marginalised people of our land into a huge decisive vote. Better getting Tsvangirai in and then dealing with other issies later than having Zpf in charge.

Frankly speaking this regional deal is more inclined on attempting to sabotage the MDC-T from sweeping into government and less about destroying Zanu Pf.Does anybody remember Dabengwas words back in 2008 when he said he used Simba Makoni as a braai stick to stop Tsvangirai from being President? Which only means to him its ok for Mugabe to stay in power as long as Tsvangirai doesnt enter state house.The same is true for the rebelious Ncube whose reason of existance is to hate on Tsvangirai and tirelessly frustrate his chances of being Zim 1..This all confirms what i always say , MRT ndoovane bhora and vanomakwa masides ese..This isnt simply a ZAPU-MDC green coalition…its in fact a ZAPU-ZANU-MDC-N green coalition against MDC-T.
