Harare(ZimEye)President Mugabe (85) slept during an investment conference in Harare today (Wednesday)
Immediately after his sleeping session, Mugabe came out announcing on the recently gazetted indigenisation law which has raised a lot of international interest, saying foreign investors who would refuse to accept 49 percent equity will be fools.
“Forty nine percent is a hell lot of equity, its only foolish ones who will say no, wise ones will accept,” he said.
However, on the same day, Zimbabwe’s minister in charge of indigenisation, Saviour Kasukuwere was reportedly considering placing the controversial law on hold.
Mugabe also said that sanctions targetted against Zimbabwe must go.
