Zimbabwe’s Justice Minister and member of the tripartite team meeting heads of various EU, and other nations in London yesterday, Patrick Chinamasa, indicated that the United Kingdom and its allies should forget about monitoring elections for Zimbabwe as the country will not allow them.
In a charged up moment at the House of Commons on Tuesday, Chinamasa brought the meeting to a halt when he said that Britain and the US were already compromised since they had a premeditated agenda against ZANU PF.
Before coming to Zimbabwe, they had already concluded the election outcome, he said.
He said they were not objective: “the British and their allies which include the United States of America, the white commonwealth countries which imposed sanctions on Zimbabwe will not be allowed  to come to observe the elections; this is because they are not neutral forces they have shown hostility against Zimbabwe. They are partisan and so they are not objective…,” he said, (Watch this space for the full video).

A relaxed Chinamasa speaks to ZimEye after the meeting

MDC representative in the tripartite Priscilla Misihairabwi confirmed to ZimEye how Chinamasa froze the meeting as he forwarded his concerns at  “regime change strategies and Britain, US premeditated political bias against Zimbabwe.”
Chinamasa’s concerns come directly after former British foreign secretary David Miliband recently leaked intelligence information on the former colonial power’s foreign policy since 1991.
The Foreign Secretary at the end of 2011, revealed that Britain has for two decades been attempting various means to remove Robert Mugabe which however failed.
“Every British government in the last 20 years has scratched its head on what to do about Mugabe…Sanctions don’t work. Pressure doesn’t work. Enticement doesn’t work,” he said, as he mentioned that greater attention should now be directed towards Mugabe as the former British colony draws closer to elections.
That statement has embarassed British politicians leaving the new UK coalition government to pursue what may be new methods of engagement with Zimbabwe.
A comunique of objectives which leaked to the media reveals a  sudden change in foreign policy towards Zimbabwe.
Meeting minutes of the Friends of Zimbabwe, 2013 meeting on Tuesday excluded Chinamasa’s comments.Friends of Zimbabwe (FOZ), an organisation started by the diplomatic service of the European Union’s European External Action Service (EEAS), met on Tuesday March 26, in London to discuss a wide range of issues affecting Zimbabwe. FOZ had representatives from the following countries: The United States of America, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, the EU, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Australia in attendance.

  1. Long live Chinamasa. To hell with the blind and the cowards. Zimbabwe should never be a colony again. When are you oneeyeds going to read the British and American foreign policy?

  2. @Runyararo ,go to hell & roast murderous Zanuiod CIO !Minda ipi yacho ,nzara yega-yega kuZimba.Only a moronic imbecile like u can be proud of the chaotic, brutal Land invasion that characterised Zim in 2000 after your murderous godfather Matibili lost the referendum vote in 2000.

  4. I believe Cde Chinamas is right. The West has to shift to accommodate and treat us as equals. Regimes have been changed forever in Africa and elsewhere, and this will continue unless you, unless someone with the guts stops it. Since when has Afica seen peace. Since when have resources not been looted and or stolen? Unless you look outside the box, all seems well with relationships between first and third world countries. But NO. They are not. It’s always about Master and Slave arrangement. Its all about manipulation and extortion for peanuts returns. See what Bull frog Obert Mpofu is advocating for, value added to our minerals they keep looting. And who do you think wants that. Affirmative action, and who do you think will smile at that. Unless we think big about ownership, employment, investments and reinvestments, we will always remain loyal to poverty. Friends of Zimbabwe. You stop a bit. Since when have these same countries been friends of Zimbabwe? Think big. Think wise and empower your brains first. Njere shoma dzinouraya tenzi nebasa. Keep it up Cde Chinamasa. I wish Zimbabwe had more men with enough below there than you do.

  5. Tell them Comrade, gone are the days when Zimbabweans had to kneel down to the British. let those Zimbabweans who have been made to accept inferiority to go ahead and worship the british, ana Tsvangirayi, vari kudya ka vachitengesa nyika. Not Zimbabwe, we are awake and will never be a colony again. Well done Chinamasa, Hands up for you. Pamberi nekutora ma banks

  6. Chinamasa is a Village idiot singing 4 his Supper. He happens to be a phoney trained Lawyer with poor command of the English Language .Kumeso kwaChinamasa kwakarema .

  7. NB:Save fo Mugabe i would still have no problem with whoever the people choose, whether its Welsh,Tsvangs,Makoni or even a white(handiti its all about democracy).I have known no other leader save for Mugabe since birth, its becoming more unrealistic for him to be so greed,No No No!!
ZPF must give us new brooms,i will vote for them if they field Simba or i will still vote MKD,its close to my beliefs.

  8. Marikos stop being a numpty, the world must evolve from the time where superpowers savagely re-orient the balance of power by pounding weak nations into smitherens so as to install a puppet and increase the number of allies.
Watch on Youtube how rebels in Syria are fighting using civilians as shields,it could be your whole family if it happens in Zimbabwe.People’s houses have been converted to bunkers which are in turn shelled to rubble, you might enjoy the rest of your life without 90% of your family thats if you survive.
No matter how Mugabe is wrong,i will never support barbaric Americans to level our city and kill our relatives, then say”congrats you are now free from Mugabe”.What if the next leader do the same?,level the cities again?,dont be so primitive.
Chinamasa’s diplomatic stunt doesnt benefit us but Tsvangirayi is too docile when it comes to whiteman pressure,he has apparently and regrettably taken them for demigods. This inclination has deprived him of principle, easily abandons his own beliefs when Mr Jones says otherwise, can be easily manipulated which earned him the flip flop or is it flop flop status. All said and done, its ridiculous for a 90yr old to contest in any election, elections must be reserved for those who still have an erection,at least!!!

  9. Of cause Chinamasa has nothing to lose in saying what he says. The man is wealthy eats well unlike his subjects the Zimbabwean people he purports to represent. It is all too easy to get carried away with his grand posturing. It serves no one but the preservation of the status quo. I am not a fan of the western governments dictatorial tendencies towards African people but this is/has been brought about by the ineptness and corruption of the Chinamasas’ of this world. They created this environment where we are ordered about. Mugabe still stands proud as had of that tattered state of ours with his head held high like a cock in heat, not because he out smarted the west but because there is nothing seriously worth taking him out for; otherwise he could have been another Gaddafi, gone and forgotten!!

  10. I find the level of debate here is occasionally beneath contempt. I shall be forgiving towards people who make offensive personal remarks because, sadly, “they know not that they know not” (as the late, great nationalist leader, Josiah Chinamano, would have said).
It is of little consequence – but, before I sign off permanently and, just for the record – I still have all my teeth!

  11. After almost a decade out in the international diplomatic and political wilderness these are kind of gaffes you would expect from a typical zanoid. Its going to be an interesting year to say the least, all the concessions and compromises are pointing to the Coffin Dodgers last hurrah in this nightmare Zimbabwe has had to endure during his tenure. This political grandstanding and bravado antics serves nothing for zanoo pee eff honestly but only shows a bunch of greying old men scared of what awaits them when a new dispensation arrives. Too much blood has been spilt and too many abuses have gone unabated and this step is just the beginning from the end.

  12. Gukurahundi Survivor, who told you i’m a son of a Gukurahundist? are you sure that i’m a CIO? nxa , ngabe yakubulala i Gukurahundi ngoba you are useless uyinto nje yokulahlwa.

  13. Ha ha, Chinamasa your claims betray your nevoursness. You were summoned by a Jnr minister responsible for british colonies and you came running like an overzelous puppy & now you want to claim the upper-hand.

  14. Bla Mikidiot, your English is atrociaious for sure. Did you want to say “QUIET”?
    Short memory?
    kikikikiki”

  15. Shut up your frog smelling toothless mouth Dianadog Mitchellsgay. It is you pink idiot who does have a short or no memory at all. So you think Cde Chinamasa should be quite because it is a “normal” trend for the british to impose sanctions as they did to Smith during UDI? You think we are that foolish to believe that at some point indeed Britain imposed sanctions to Smith? Thank you so much Cde Chinamasa. Lets keep on stunning them.

  16. Chinamasa has a highly selective memory and his views are understandably biassed towards those of his paymasters. I wish to remind him that Britain imposed economic sanctions on the Rhodesian Front whose UDI should give Patrick pause for thought.

  17. Ndumiso CIO. son of a Gukurahundist. With or without Tsvangirai, your number of days, you and your ZANU pf are numbered. We are moving on. Mutengesi mukuru who is selling his own people for some few shillings

  18. Noma nje ngingamthandi u Chinamasa ngijabuliswa yikuthi uyindoda eleqiniso akesabi abelungu njengabantu be MDC T abayizikhotha sihlama zabelungu.

  19. Toko MaBritish. I do not support Zanupf but I want to say to Chinamasa well done for telling them right there and on their faces especially under this yet new head called”Friends of Zimbabwe”. I like it when you say that they will not be allowed by you Zanupf whether Tswangirai and Mutambara or Welshman want it or not. Those are irrelevant. You are the ones who determine who comes and not other components of the government and they got it from you straight. I like it like. SADC and all the other junk was also there and they heard it straight!

  20. Chinamasa its us Zimbabweans who are demanding regime change. Mugabe’s regime has stayed beyond its welcome. Sanctions or no sanctions Mugabe should step down.

  21. Wena Zimdofo eye aka Mdc-t what is that is shocking? I blame your colonised mind n I c you are used to Swangilai a yes man. Am glad USA n European bullying days are numbered. BRICKS countries agreed to establish a bank which will offer better services than world bank that benefits USA n his pals,so are you going to say it is shocking too,Zimdofo eye aka Mdc-t nxa!

  22. i agree with Chinamasa. Why is it western countries are obsessed with how long Mugabe has stayed in power.what about the Queen of England who doesn’t want to step down for her own son,how many years has she been power ,hypocrites. Its high time we zimbos stand up for our own country because these pple they don’t really have our interest at heart.tired of pple tarnishing my beloved Zimbabwe.

  23. Zimbabweans don’t care about Britain, but what we are concerned as Zimbabweans is our health and safety under Mugabe. Chinamasa is only grandstanding the regime change mantra. Zimbabweans and not the British have resolved to change the regime death or no death. It is unfortunate that Zanu pf is scapegoating Western Countries. Zanu pf has over-stayed and cannot change its own leadership so change to them is sinister.
