Harare(ZimEye)March is a dark month for Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, it has emerged, as attempts are made to trace the person who allegedly killed his wife, Susan.
 
In March 2007, the top leadership of MDC was brutally assaulted by police in Highfields at a prayer meeting that had been called by Save Zimbabwe Campaign.
Exactly a year later, March 2008 saw Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai emerging as the winner of the presidential poll but was robbed through electoral rigging leading to a bloody election rerun.
In March 2009, Prime Minister Tsvangirai lost his wife, Susan Nyaradzo Tsvangirai, through a tragic accident near Harare, plunging the nation into mourning. The lorry driver who hit Tsvangirai is said to have fallen asleep at the wheel.

Days later it was reported that the truck that killed Susan Tsvangirai was either owned or operated by Saviour Kasukuwere, a former spy agent in the CIO and the then Youth and Gender Development Minister in the new inclusive government.
The allegations were not investigated and six years later MDC cadres have continued in their belief that Mrs Tsvangirai was murdered.

  1. You’re reading too many conspiracy theories and can no longer distinguish truth from lies!! Chitepo’s assassination has NOT been kept under cover; it was the work of Rhodesian agents. Many books & newspaper articles have actually been written about that.
    Coming to Susan Tsvangirai’s death, the truck involved in the accident was actually traced to the American NGO called USAID!!…unless if you’re saying that the Yankees & CIO collaborated on the accident. Remember Tsvangirai himself saying that it was a genuine accident??!! NOW, YOU’RE MOURNING MORE THAN THE BEREAVED!!

  3. This is an inappropriate move that will re-open old wounds; but the million dollar question is: what will it really achieve??!! The dead will not be coming back to life, will they??!!
    I note that the story attempts to pin the blame on ZPF; but the first reports about the accident showed that the truck belonged to the American NGO called USAID!!

The story makes a lot of sense unless people just put emotions where it is unnecessary.Here the tragic accident was caused by a former CIO”s truck.And no investigation was done and the public told what happened.This is a reminder to the millions that Zimbabwean police does not value life.Even Chitepo”s assassination is kept undercover.This is a culture we want to undo in Zimbabwe.Killing each other and say the investidgation is inconclusive.Zororo Duri, Moven Mahachi,Chris Ushewokunze, Brig Gunda, Sidney Malunga, Chindori Chininga, Boarder Gezi -the list is endless,all perished in mysterious accidents.That is unacceptable to finish off people and say nothing was found out but at the same time saying the Zimbabwean police are the best in the region.
    On Mujuru, the dearth squad went a gear up and burnt him .Eddison Zvobgo survived the accident at Chibi turnoff because Josiah Tungamirai sent a helicopter to airlift him to Harare.Nicholas Goche also survived a horrific accident that’s why he at times use a walking stick.
    We want security agents who are accountable to life, not barbarians who take life for nothing.
    It is thus still painful that Susan Tsvangirai died and the investigation was neer concluded.Lets value life

  25. Just about confirms my thooughts. Susan must have been killed – HWy March, March, March? Why not December or October?
