Tsvangirai Lied to Zimbabweans in 2009 – Maziwisa

Psychology Maziwisa

(OPINION)There are very few occasions when ZANU PF finds itself in agreement with the MDC-T. Fortunately, the need to create massive employment is one of them.

Nevertheless, the difference between my party and the MDC-T which by the way is a fundamental difference, is that whereas ZANU PF talks of employment in the sense of creating real, tangible and sustainable jobs, what the MDC-T really means by employment is far from clear.

In 2009, Tsvangirai promised to create 1 million jobs but- and this might seem like a tired line- the sad truth is that our wretched former Prime Minister lied to the people of Zimbabwe. Instead of living up to his promise, Tsvangirai ended up creating more babies than jobs.maziwisa

In this election, Tsvangirai is yet again promising to create 1 million jobs except this time, curiously, he says he will do so within the first 100 days of taking up office- a hard sale indeed, given that he is the same discredited politician who failed to do the same thing in 4 years.

Contrastingly, we are proud of our record as a party. For instance, when we redistributed over 12 million hectares of land to nearly half a million households in 2000, we created hundreds of thousands of real jobs.

Similarly, tens of thousands of jobs have been created since the start of the indigenisation programme and we expect that millions more will be created under a properly-run ZANU PF government. This is as it should be.

The truth is, my dear friends, that when Tsvangirai goes on about how he needs to create MORE jobs, what he really means is he wants MORE room to make MORE of his broken promises. This is treacherous. It is not how we want this country to be governed. It is not who we are as a people. It is unacceptable. But most important of all, IT IS B*******!

Usatinyepere Psychodog Maziwimbwa, here is the truth: Due to the Zanu PF induced economic crisis, formal sector employment started to decline. From a peak of 1 241 500 in 1998 (i.e. a 68% unemployment rate), it fell to 1 012 900 in 2002 (i.e. 80% unemployment) and to an estimated 400 000 presently. A large element of this was the loss of the formal agricultural employment: estimated at 345 100 in 1998, it fell to below 100 000 after the country’s controversial land reform programme. Non-agricultural employment also fell from 896 400 in 1998 to 300 000 (which includes about 245 000 public servants), in the same period. So, in actual fact more than 800 000 jobs were lost as a direct or indirect result of the Zanu PF-induced chaotic land reform, which the coalition partners are now trying to rectify. Agricultural GDP rose by 4% in 2010 and by 10% in 2011 and is still rising, and with it comes job creation, not creation of destitutes dumped and cramped at commercial farms and left to fend for themselves, as we witnessed during the chaos! Political indigenization by itself does not guarantee job creation, it has to be structured and accompanied by investments, wanzwa bharanzi?

  4. Comrade Naked on Thu, 25th Jul 2013 4:08 pm

He created more than a million economic refuges scattered all over the world. He abused his fame by sleeping with many women n leaving behind fatherless children. He has stolen more than a million tax payers money
And not forgetting those who died of cholera, jumping borders to neighbouring countries and other victims of sanctions because of him. But I blame fools who still sing a stupid song “phambili ngoShangarai”

Dear Editor would you kindly save us from The Herald articles. This article is suitable for Zanu Pf media, similarly even bandits like Miki, Chando Kupusa, Cde Naked et al would find the article too shallow.

Tsvangirai lied in 2009. but he will never take the lying gold medal from mugabe who started his career as a celebrated lier in 1980. He diversfied to murder in 1987 getting his internship here in matebeleland and the midlands.he furthered hie career to become a professioal women snatcher when she took grace and cheated on sally. recently he boasted of having degrees inviolence meaning that he furthered his 1987 apprenticeship to either a post grad honours or a masters.

    Now
    reChristened
    Madzibaba Gabriel,
    he reduced chipostori
    and himself to all-
    time low levels by
    putting on religious regalia
    meant for strict sect adherents
    and not fly-by-night rolling
stones. Thus, he has become the
brunt of jokes on the social web
    like:’Yanetsa sei MDC yapfekedza
    Mugabe garment?’ loosely
    translated ‘MDC must have
    really made life difficult for
    Mugabe because it has made
him to sup with a sect.’ Mugabe
    can not win because these
    people are independent thinkers.

Psychology, what ever your name is you are misleading your party.Even an uneducated person can easily infer kuti ZANU yawora. Yes, ZANU was a peoples party but what happened? Only the few with influence gained. How about the masses of the people on ground? Do you really know how people are suffering in townships and rural areas? Mupfana, you dont much about what we were promised by Mugabe during the liberation war.Where are now. Laughable stock.Tinosekekwa kuti takaenda kuhondo ndosaka tisina kufunda. Iwe!! Iwe!!

Psychology- I am sorry to say that I find all your articles stupid, lacking in thought, shallow and hollow.you make us want to know more about you especially your mental state. You talk of Tsvangirai creating babies, what about you-when you are going to be pregnant?for your information, Mugabe wants to behead gays-i pray kuti atange newe before MDC yavakutonga next week.

  16. Mpunity on Fri, 26th Jul 2013 5:19 am

Is it okay to be gay if you are in Zanu?
Out of Canaan Banana, Saviour Kusukwere and wife Maziwiza, who will Mugabe behead?

  17. Mavambo Kusile Dawn on Fri, 26th Jul 2013 7:25 am

Promises are always like babies, whether made by Tsvangirai or Chombo – easy to make but very difficult to deliver. It’s unfortunate that with our world-famous education levels, Zimbabweans can be easily duped by sweets like kindergarten children. Hahahahahaha!
