Bulawayo – Thousands of people came out in embattled MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai’s support on Saturday.
What leadership-renewal advocates had hoped would be a watershed turnaround for the party’s history actually turned out to be a victory celebration for the MDC-T leader. Can't contain the joy of being loved and supported...Morgan Tsvangirai turns his head around
“Renewal or Rebels group they are wasting time the people are with President Morgan Tsvangirai,” said top Tsvangirai official and ally Charlton Hwende.
The development comes soon after some youths ran amok in the city spray painting party cars with graffiti calling for Tsvangirai’s removal, a mood before speculated would soon bring the MDC leader to his knees.
The exact comparative statistics of those in support of leadership renewal against those who support Tsvangirai could not be obtained at the time of writing.

  1. May God help Tsvangirai rule this country. We are tired of looters who do nothing for this country but pillage its resources, bringing the economy to it’s knees and robbing thousands of youths of a healthy future, where people can work, start their companies and prosper in earnest. MDC-T is the real deal. Change is inevitable….if not for the sack of our generation, then for our children, and children’s children.

  2. Chando ndiani waunoziva asingagone kriritira vana vake angade kuti vapiwe zvinopinza chando muropa.Regauone hako true leader achingopinda panyanga child grant, free education,old- age grant and disabilty grant as wel as ful revival of industry, thats why u see the people of Bulawayo gather in thousands to hear their hero of democracy, ‘SAVE’ the whole nation is behind u nesu masoja tinemi Dziva pedzisai basa.Hokoyoooo mfana!!!

  3. People of Bulawayo brace yourself for the first secretary and commander in chief of Zanu Pf army Cde Robeeeeeert Mugabe’s 3rd birthday celebrations at the Boubourfields stadium next week. Bring your children they will be treated to free freezits.

  4. Munofa negodo.Biti said people listened to bhora mugedhi, fine. Now vanhu nanoongorora their leader vomupa thumps up, like what they like on Save.Saka this politicking of having meeting in hotels hazvifambe.ZANU PF yakapinda pamongo we rural people, so lets remove that ZANU ideology as one.The majority varipo havatombozive kuti Biti ndiani.Taiva naye Biti kuGlen Nirah, Ruwa kwese-the man cant even address the poor in simple Shona, their language. He is busy with legal terms-very far detached from grassroots.

  5. Thank you to the PEOPLE of BULAWAYO! Save pfuurai nepaMasvingo tinyadzise vanaMudzuri. Mozopinde kwaMutare moshaina zvenyu!

  6. The secret behind Morgan’s consistency is that he is driven by the will of the people. Those who live on propaganda shall die on propaganda, in other words those who are supported by the herald and Zbc shall find its support base at Nikuv. What we saw in Bulawayo is a free expression of the people’s choice. No one was bussed, no shop was closed or no school children were forced to attend. This is what Zimbabweans want. Freedom of expression at best.

  7. Zimbabweans this is the time to fight those who are corrupt. In Morgan Tsvangirayi we have a leader who will eradicate corruption. Morgan is people driven not the other way round. Bulawayo will once again usher unity. Thank you save.

  8. Hats off to the people in Byo who have silenced both Zanu Pf and its sidekicks in the MDC such as the overzealous Mangoma and the power-hungry Biti. Tsvangirai anodiwa nevanhu and is going nowhere, period!

  9. Mugabe can not bring such a crowd unless they are forced and promissed mabhanzi nechibuku.

  10. never be selfish, fight for your than fighting for your own. get united and put a united front to win election. those MDC outside the arena are the enemies of progress, don’t worry they will come later

  11. Janto! Your day of reckoning is coming. let me tell you, it is soon. U better think of somewhere to hide. Not from zpf violence but from sheer shame!

  12. Att: Staff Reporter
Mr Chimombe is not Gweru mayor he is former mayor who run as an independent candidate during 2013 elections for Gweru urban seat which he lost dismally to Zvidzai,if yu say he has reformed&go back to his usual party i agree with yu pliz quote me”CHIMOMBE IS NOT A MAYOR”currently he is not employed KUTOTSVAKA BASA KWAARI KUITA UKU

  13. So what now, the MDC leader is still in opposition. The fight is to remove Mugabe and not to speak in front of crowds. Tsvangirai has had that chance so many times. If another good leader steps in them maybe we can see Mugabe really getting toppled.

  14. there is no democracy yet in Zimbabwe, there is only dictatorship & tyrany, Morgan Tsvangirai is the one true leader who can drive us out of this calamity…it is only then can we practice democracy, George Washington was one such example of a leader whose life and fate is tied to the emancipation of a whole nation, he could hav been a dictator if he pleased but it was the principles & values that governed those men, they were engaged in a war of good & evil a fight for democracy, now Zimbabwe is no different our cause is about archieving a democratic system to run this country & the people know it, that is why they stand firmly with MR Tsvangirai

  15. Chikaranga chinoti “usapima nyoka negavi”, hezvoka izvo .muchada zvipi?Vanhu vanongowawata heee renewal muriko mhiri kwemakungwa kwadzinonyangarika ndege, isu kuno tinoti Save ndizvo.Itii pweeeeee-munofa neBp

  16. The issue was never about Tsvangirayi but about democracy in the party. The grassroot are behind MDC not individuals. It is early days yet to tell whether the people really want Tsvangirayi as life president of the party. He could use this opportunity to get back his democratic credentials to allow someone else to take over..here is a real chance for him to get back his status as a fighter for democracy. Thats not to say he should just dump the leadership on Biti’s lap or some such idiotic clown who is as power hungry as he too was appearing to be but he can preside over a congress where the people choose their own brand new executive..It is in the interest of both his supporters and himself.

  17. Tsvangirai’s hands are clean unlike Mugabe & zanu pf have blood. Those from the renewal side of the MDC-T together & zanu pf are satanists. They survive on human bloody and sacrificing people for their selfish gains. They are only there to try and derail the people’s project and also to help the devil to continue tormenting Zimbabweans. Devil you are a liar! Tsvangirai will take Zimbabwe to prosperity. No one will stop the will of God now! Zimbabwe will be free!
