Harare(ZimEye)The Zimbabwe National Soccer Supporters Association(ZNSSA) and Go Liner tours have signed a deal. Under the deal Zimbabwean fans will be ferried to South Africa for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup Final, the 2010 World Cup Finals and Nations Cup Final in South Africa and Angola.

The package will be launched at Rainbow Towers in Harare this Friday. Go Liner tours are allegedly in consultations with national teams and fans that might intend to pass through Zimbabwe during the 2010 World Cup Final. The tour operator is targeting 250 fans for the Confederations Cup Finals to be held at Ellis Park Stadium in South Sfrica on 28th June.

The package has been dubbed ‘ Zimbabwe welcoming FIFA Confederations cup 2009 and World Cup 2010.’  ZIFA have endorsed the deal and suggested that the tour operator should become the official carrier of the Zimbabwe National teams.

Premiership leadership is also being courted by Go Liner into a deal that will see the operator becoming the League Official carrier. ZNSS leader Eddie Nyatanga confirmed the partnership. “The ZNSSA is set to unveil a massive package for its members who intend to travel to watch the FIFA 2009 Confederation Cup, the African Cup of  Nations and World Cup 2010 finals in South Africa and Angola,” said Nyatanga.

Despite the national soccer team’s failure to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup finals, ZNSSA has been voted the third best in Africa by CAF. (ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

Sub standard on the so called SUPREME BUS

After having heard the advert of Goliner Supreme Coach,I boarded the so called SUPREME Bus on the 18th day of June 2009 with my 3 cousins aged between 6 and 11years old. We have been in an bus before and this was our first. I had the impression that the kids would enjoy the trip because the advertused service. The first thing is we booked four PLAY STATION seat and when we got on to the bus, there were already about four families fighting for the seats with the non or never worked so called playstations. Departing time was meant to be 7.30pm but we left around 9pm.

Travelling was ok, the crew did their best but the snacks served in the bus were far from convincing. When we got to Pretoria, the bus had a breakdown and we were left in the bus for 4 solid hours without any food or any know how as to when we would get home. I asked for a phone to make a call to people who were supposed to pick us up but before i spoke to my people, one of the boys in the Pretoria started shouting at me as if i was bothering or inconviniencing the office.

Four hours later, a Mphakati bus came and drove us to Jbg and as advertised we asked for the shuttles services and were told that the service doesnt exist and instead the guy called a so called jallopy, or body on wheels tax driven by a Zimbo, who charged us R300 to go to our new house in Sandton. The fact that home i drive sn E Class, Compressor and Land rover, i was really disappointed.

After that we just kept silent and the biggest disappointment was on return. We were suppose to leave by 4.30pm but we were only picked up around 9pm.

IS THIS THE SO CALLED SUPREME SERVICE THAT MUST BE GIVEN TO PASSENGERS OR I WAS JUST THE UNFORTUNATE ONE?????
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS HAPPENING AND HOW DO I GET MY REFUNDS BACK FOR THE SERVICES YOU ADVERTISED BUT WERE NOT AVAILABLE

I WANT TO TRAVEL BUS BY ON BUS ON 1 AUGUST 2009 TO JBG. SHOULD I LOOK FOR ANOTHER BUS?
